Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what Alpharetta, GA Jobs collects, why, and your choices.

What we collect

• Account & contact: your email (for magic-link sign-in and notifications), and anything you choose to add (name, business name, profile details).
• Profiles: optional “looking for work” profile details you choose to add.
• Listings & applications: jobs you post, and — when you apply — your name, email, optional message, and which job you applied to (shared with that employer). If you attach a résumé, it is passed directly to that employer by email and is not retained or stored by us.
• Location: the approximate location you provide for distance (“near me”/ZIP).
• Usage: referral/share parameters (UTM, ref code) so we can understand how listings are found.
• Payments: processed by Stripe; we don’t store card numbers.

How long we keep it & who sees it

We keep data while your account is active and as needed to run the Service, then delete or anonymize it. Employers only see applicants for their own jobs. We do not sell your personal information.

Résumés are not stored on our servers. A résumé you submit with an application is passed directly to that employer by email and then discarded — we keep only your name, email, optional message, and which job you applied to (shared with that employer). For your convenience, your own browser may keep a copy of your résumé on your device so you don’t have to re-attach it next time; that copy stays on your device, is never sent to us for storage, and you can clear it anytime from the apply form (“Forget my saved résumé”).

Third-party processors

We use a small set of providers to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting, anti-spam), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare MailChannels (email), and the Anthropic API (the assistant and post tidy-up). Each processes data only to provide its service.

Cookies we use

• Essential: sign-in session — required to stay logged in.
• Functional: your chosen location, city preview, and theme.
• Attribution: referral code, so we can credit who shared a listing.

No advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Your choices & rights

• Access / export: download your data anytime from your account.
• Deletion: delete your account and personal data from your account (employers from the dashboard). We hard-delete or irreversibly anonymize personal fields.
• Email [email protected] for any privacy request.

Minors’ data

Some listings (summer, student, babysitting, and similar roles) may involve people under 18. We collect only what’s needed to apply or post, we don’t knowingly collect data from children under 13, and we do not screen, vet, or background-check any user — see the listings disclaimer. If you’re a parent/guardian and believe a minor provided data you’d like removed, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures (encryption in transit, access controls, rate limiting, least-data collection), but no system is perfectly secure.
